4:00 AM

Temple Opens

The most auspicious time for darshan, offering a peaceful start to the day.

5:30 AM

First Bhog (Pratah Bhog)

Small offering (anna/prasad) placed before the deity and distributed. Pilgrims often aim to be present for this early morning bhog.

Early morning bhog

6:00 AM

Khichdi Bhog (Morning Offering)

A simple boiled rice/khichdi offering prepared in the temple kitchen — symbolic breakfast for the deity. This prasad is distributed to early visitors.

If you want khichdi prasad, arrive before 6:00 AM.

11:00 AM

Raj Bhog (Main Mid-day Offering)

The principal cooked offering of the day — larger in quantity and richer fare. Distributed as prasad after the ritual. A customary time for laghu annadan (small food distribution).

Devotees often gather in the main hall during this significant offering.

12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Temple Closed

Routine cleaning and rest period for priests. The deity rests during the afternoon heat.

Plan your on-site activities accordingly — the temple is closed during this period.

4:00 PM

Bal Bhog (Afternoon Light Offering)

A light afternoon offering to the deity — marking the transition from rest to the evening rituals. Fruits and light preparations are offered.

A serene time to visit as the evening preparations begin.

7:30 PM-8:00 PM

Yamini Bhog & Sandhya Aarti

The final offering and surrendering of the day. Small prasad distribution accompanies the closing arati. The temple closes at 8:00 PM.

Arrive by 7:30 PM for the beautiful closing arati ceremony.

  • Devotees are requested to maintain sanctity and silence during darshan hours
  • Photography and mobile phones are not permitted inside the main sanctum
  • Please dress modestly and remove footwear before entering the temple premises
